I help mission-driven organizations tell stories that matter—and make sure those stories actually reach the people who need to hear them. With more than a decade of experience in nonprofit marketing and communications, I specialize in turning big ideas, complex programs, and meaningful impact into clear, compelling narratives that drive engagement and measurable growth.

My work lives at the intersection of strategy, storytelling, and data. I’ve led social media and digital communications, built content strategies from the ground up, navigated regulated environments, and collaborated across teams to amplify thought leadership without losing the human voice behind the mission. I care deeply about brand integrity, accessibility, and using communications as a tool for connection—not just promotion.

At the heart of everything I do is a belief that strong communications can move communities, strengthen trust, and help organizations doing good work do it even better.

My Leadership Experience

I’ve led marketing and communications at both the organizational and grassroots levels—serving as Vice President of Marketing & Communications for a multi-state nonprofit and as the founder and executive director of a community-based organization I built from the ground up.

In these roles, I’ve:

  • Set agency-wide marketing and communications strategy across programs, fundraising, and leadership

  • Led teams, mentored junior staff, and collaborated across departments to align messaging and goals

  • Navigated regulated and high-stakes communications environments with clarity and care

  • Served as a primary spokesperson and crisis communications lead

  • Partnered with executives, boards, vendors, and creatives to move work forward thoughtfully and efficiently


I’m comfortable operating at both the strategic and execution levels—setting direction while staying close enough to the work to ensure quality, consistency, and impact.

My Creative + Strategic Philosophy

I believe the strongest communications sit at the intersection of strategy, storytelling, and trust.

For me, creativity isn’t about being flashy—it’s about being intentional. I start by listening: to the organization, the audience, the data, and the context. From there, I focus on building narratives that are clear, accessible, and aligned with both mission and goals.

A few principles that guide my work:

  • Clarity over complexity: Especially in nonprofit and health-adjacent spaces, clarity is a form of respect.

  • Data informs, story connects: Metrics guide decisions, but stories are what move people.

  • Brand is a promise: Consistency, tone, and voice matter—internally and externally.

  • People first: Behind every program, policy, or campaign are real humans. Communications should reflect that.

What I'm Known For

I’m especially passionate about advancing work related to health, education, community well-being, and advocacy—and supporting organizations and leaders who are doing meaningful, often challenging work in these spaces.

I had the privilege of working with Victoria at SparkWheel. Victoria has an incredible eye for web design, graphic design, and building strong brand awareness, and her work always made our organization look its best.

Outside of Work

I believe good work comes from a grounded life. Outside of my professional role, I’m deeply involved in community-based animal welfare, creative projects, and advocacy work. These experiences continue to shape how I approach leadership, communication, and collaboration—with empathy, persistence, and care.
